Nozzle flowmeter


Nozzle flowmeter is a differential pressure generator for measuring flow. It can measure the flow of various fluids in the pipeline with various differential pressure gauges or differential pressure transmitters. Standard nozzle throttling device is used together with differential pressure transmitter to measure the flow of liquid, steam and gas. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and other departments.



Nozzle flowmeter is a differential pressure generator for measuring flow. Standard nozzle throttling device is used together with differential pressure transmitter to measure the flow of liquid, steam and gas. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and other departments.

The nozzle flow transmitter is composed of nozzle flow sensor and differential pressure transmitter. It outputs 4-20mA electrical signal representing the differential pressure signal. The flow calculation and temperature and pressure compensation are configured by the user. There are two structures: split installation and integrated installation. The integrated installation means that the differential pressure transmitter and the nozzle have been connected as a whole when the product leaves the factory. After the user purchases the integrated nozzle, there is no need to connect the impulse pipe when using it. However, it must be equipped with corresponding flow calculator, pressure transmitter and temperature transmitter. Split nozzle flow transmitter consists of independent nozzle flow sensor and differential pressure transmitter. The connection of impulse pipe between nozzle flow sensor and differential pressure transmitter shall be completed by the user.

Features of nozzle flow sensor: it only provides the forming part of differential pressure signal (nozzle part), not differential pressure transmitter and flow calculation display part. The output signal is the pressure difference formed by the fluid before and after the throttling part. Other configurations are made by the user.

Compared with orifice flowmeter, nozzle flowmeter has less pressure loss, so it saves energy, is relatively durable, is suitable for high temperature and high pressure fluid, and is widely used in steam flow measurement in electric power, chemical industry and other industries. Nozzle flowmeter includes standard nozzle (isa1932 nozzle) and long neck nozzle. Its design and manufacture comply with the provisions of international standard iso5167 or national standard GB / t2624.

Nominal diameter: dn50-500mm (DN > 500 can also be designed and produced)·

Working pressure: ≤ 42MPa·

Operating temperature: - 50 ℃ - 650 ℃·

Pressure tapping method: angle connection (separate ring chamber, flange ring chamber integrated or direct drilling) pressure tapping·

Nozzle installation mode: flange (direct drilling and pressure taking part), fastener clamping flange, ring chamber, fastener clamping type, clamp (also pressure taking part) welding type

Executive standard: is05167; GB/T2624

Accuracy: as per standard: ± 1.0%

Material: flange or clamping part: carbon steel and alloy steel can be selected according to medium temperature; Stainless steel, nozzle: stainless steel 304; 316 et al

Long diameter nozzle parameters

Working pressure: ≤ 42MPa·

Operating temperature: - 50 ℃ - 650 ℃·

Pressure tapping method: diameter distance (D-D / 2) pressure tapping·

Installation method of nozzle parts: equip and weld the upstream and downstream pipe sections, and then set pressure tapping holes according to the diameter distance (D-D / 2)·

Executive standard: is05167; GB/T2624·

Accuracy: as per standard: ± 2.0%·

Material: carbon steel and alloy steel can be selected for the upstream and downstream pipe sections according to the medium temperature; Stainless steel nozzle; Stainless steel 304; 316 et al
